0400 Bridge measures at the extruder hopper
An example of adopting a blow disk as a countermeasure for bridging of crushed material in the hopper of an extruder.
We would like to introduce a case where a Bro-Disk Mini was delivered to a facility primarily engaged in the production of food containers and packaging sheets. The delivery was made as a countermeasure for the bridging issue caused by the crushed material "pellets + powder" in the hopper of the extruder. Initially, the customer requested a loan of the equipment for effectiveness verification, so we sent the necessary quantity. After discussing the arrangement for various hoppers, we proceeded with the testing, and the results were all favorable and well-received.
